Simon competed in WorldSkills Singapore 2023, winning the Gold Medal. He then represented Singapore in WorldSkills ASEAN 2024, proving his ability and skills in 3D modelling and design.

Simon deviced multiple designs and products to during his NS career, some, even being adopted for sustained usage within the SAF.
